I've been a Queen fan since I saw them on Countdown in the mid 70's. When I first saw them I was just blown away by this group who were so different and just so far "out there", and their music was just so wonderful. None of my friends were into such a fringe group so I became a closet Queen fan. Now that I'm somewhat older I can indulge myself and become a middle aged groupie LOL . I love the variety and intensity of their music and all of them are just such wonderful musicians, I'm in awe!! During the last few years I've been having a lot of physical and emotional pain due to some major orthopeadic problems. During some of my hardest times I've played my Queen music loud and and long it's helped get me away from my troubles, far better than any medicine the doctors can give!!! I've made this site for Queen and Queen fans and I hope that you enjoy it. I have lots of interests, but music looms large! I've played the guitar (badly) since I was 12 and I also play the piano. As you can see by this site I spend a lot of time on the computer, I consider this as relaxation after a hard week at work. I'm classed as legally blind, but this doesn't impede me from enjoying my other hobbies of travel, genealogy, art, astronomy and reading. My dream is to see Queen + Paul Rodgers play live here in Australia (or anywhere else I can get to for that matter). When Queen came here in the past I didn't go to their concerts because of my disability, back then I would have been devastated to be stuck at the back and not be actually able to "see" them and the fear of being lost in a big crowd. Now, I would still be unhappy being in a huge crowd and not being able to "see" them, but I'd still go anyway.
